Dan Gusanders founded Pure Processing in 2010 after very successful careers in the medical device reprocessing and infection prevention industries. As president of Pure Processing, Dan has been instrumental in start up formation, product development, market validation, manufacturing, and sales and marketing of the patented PureStation™ Instrument PreCleaning System. A graduate of the University of Illinois, Dan began his medical device processing career with Calgon Vestal as a sales consultant. He then sold and managed hospital construction build-out projects for sterile processing departments, operating rooms and endoscopy labs for STERIS Corporation. An active member of IAHCSMM, SGNA, and AAMI, Dan has a staunch philosophy that collaboration and education are vitally important for the adequate processing of medical devices. When not spending time in hospital processing departments, you can find Dan spending time with his wife, two sons and a daughter, and enjoying various sports activities near their home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
