Program Summary
Join us in this interactive, 1 CE approved course, and learn how to set up a robust ergonomic awareness program for your sterile processing and/or endoscope reprocessing department(s). You will see real-life cases and practice your ergonomic observation skills as we explore how ergonomics can improve safety, efficiency, productivity and more. The course will also include strategic planning tools and considerations to bring ergonomics into the long-term, strategic vision for a department.
At the end of this session, you should be able to:
- Define what ergonomics means for sterile processing and endoscope reprocessing departments
- Identify areas where ergonomic solutions can enhance sterile processing and endoscope reprocessing departments
- Discuss how ergonomic awareness can affect both short-term and long-term outcomes
