Pure Processing is always seeking the talented, the driven, and those that fearlessly innovate in their disciplines. Apply for one of our open careers to find a place where you can make a difference and expand your true potential.
Who You Are
You've probably had a screwdriver or a soldering iron in your hand since you were a kid. Your weekends are spent tinkering or creating: a homemade PC build, a 3D printer you can't stop running, a bike or go-kart you took apart just to see how it worked. You're the one in the group project who redesigns the process halfway through because you spotted a better way. You don't wait around for direction; if something can be built better, you're already sketching it! This job hands you real projects on day one, not busy work. You'll take small-to-medium products from concept through testing and into production: generating the drawings, running the tests, and owning the documentation that makes it real. Working directly with a seasoned Engineer, you'll build hands-on skills in sheet metal, CAD, new product development, manufacturing and more, with the freedom to flag a better process and actually go build it. We don’t want to just create, we want to reinvent! For our recent grads, look no further. This is a true, entry-level role that puts you on a pathway to a long-term career that doesn’t make you choose between pathway and Purpose. You can have both! What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (completed or nearly complete); recent grads welcome!
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Experience with a CAD program (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar) through coursework, an internship, or personal projects
- Sheet metal or injection molding experience from an internship or previous job preferred
- A self-starter who takes initiative and is always looking for a better way to do things
- Comfortable getting hands-on in an R&D environment, not just behind a desk
- Hands-on personal projects: PC builds, 3D printing, robotics, or similar creative hobbies are a big plus
What You'll Do
- Lead small-to-medium New Product Development (NPD) projects through the entire development cycle
- Conduct product testing on new and existing products
- Create and maintain manufacturing drawings for new and existing products
- Create and maintain engineering documentation: specs, install sheets, BOMs, and more
- Identify and implement improvements to new and existing processes and products
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by Engineering
Key Metrics
- NPD milestones hit on or before their planned date (target: 85%+)
- Product tests completed and logged on schedule (target: 95%+)
- Drawings and BOMs released error-free downstream (target: 95%+)
- Documentation packages kept current and complete (target: 95%+)
- Process improvements identified and put into practice (target: 4-6 per year)
What We Offer
We believe high performers should be rewarded clearly and fairly. We offer:- Competitive base salary
- 401(k) with company match
- Health insurance
- 100% company-paid short- and long-term disability
- Up to $50,000 in company-paid life and AD&D coverag
- Generous PTO and paid holidays, including Summer Hour Fridays
- A high-growth company that promotes from within
- A respected brand that customers trust and welcome

- Lead, manage, and hold accountable a mixed team of skilled and support staff — setting clear expectations and following through consistently
- Own and drive key operational metrics: throughput, on-time delivery, quality rates, labor efficiency, and scrap/rework
- Identify and eliminate waste — using lean thinking and continuous improvement principles scaled to a small company environment
- Build and maintain a culture of accountability, respect, and high performance on the shop floor
- Partner with ownership to design scalable processes as we grow from our current size to 2–3x our operations

- A history of addressing performance and culture issues head-on, not avoiding them
- Genuine ambition to grow into a senior leadership role over the next several years
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, kaizen or similar continuous improvement frameworks a plus
- Comfort working with and building scorecards, metrics, dashboards and reporting
- Experience at a company that grew quickly & significantly. Help us keep doing the same!

- Pick/pack/ship & warehouse teams
