Medical Sales Intern

This is a paid, in-office position for Summer 2021 (May – August)

The Job
The Sales Intern will be responsible for helping generate business through their own, outbound efforts; turning initial leads into
qualified sales opportunities; ensuring the needs of our customers are met; and helping support the sales efforts of our veteran
team.

You’ll be instrumental in closing deals, building pipelines, and ensuring the needs of our customers are met. Interns also get first-hand experience in CRM systems like Salesforce and HubSpot and learn lifelong sales skills.

The Essential Functions
• Identifying sales leads through outbound activities, including: cold calling, e-mailing, marketing promotions, and
account management
• Nurturing marketing-qualified leads into sales leads through outbound calling, e-mails, and drip campaigns
• Regular outreach into territory and accounts, and ensuring customer needs are met
• Develops and nurtures positive, customer relationships

The Requirements
• Interest in medical sales, and instrument reprocessing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Must be willing to work in our Carol Stream, IL office location 5 days a week

Territory Account Manager – Texas

We are seeking a full-time Territory Account Manager to provide winning consultants and support to reprocessing professionals. Those interested in working with a quickly growing company and leveraging their experience will find a great role waiting for them!

The territory account manager is responsible for managing a defined territory, and maintaining an ongoing pipeline of sales in their area. The territory account manager will split time between working at a home office, and traveling to their territory to perform on-site visits, demos, in-servicing, consultations, and other related services for customers. The territory account manager will represent the Pure Processing portfolio and make recommendations for department challenges. They must have a strong understanding of the industry and instrument reprocessing landscape and participate in ongoing education at local vendor fairs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline for each representative territory and meet monthly sales quotas in their territory
  • Visit each territory periodically to perform in-services, demos, on-site visits, consultations, and other related services for customers
  • Works with sales and marketing teams to create campaigns and promotional programs
  • Identifies challenges and provides recommendations for solutions from the Pure Processing portfolio
  • Periodically attend local and national shows as a representative of Pure Processing
  • Prepares reports and daily activity tasks to gauge their results and progress
  • Develops requests for proposals and summary packages for capital budgeting developments
  • Can contribute as a voice in the development and growth of Pure Processing’s sales strategies and landscape

Job requirements:

  • 3-7 years of authenticated sales performance history and meeting quotas
  • Will have worked with sterile processing, endoscopy, infection prevention, facilities management, and/or OR contacts
  • Positive, energetic outlook when working with clients and customers
  • Self-driven motivator with the ambition to create results and self-manage
  • Top-level phone and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including data management, reporting, and using CRM applications
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications a plus
