Like the freeways that stretch across our country, sterile processing is the highway that connects; it connects patients to their care, technicians with the opportunity to serve others, the operating room to its resources, and professionals to one other. Sterile processing enforces the safe & careful processes and procedures that keep traffic flowing in their facilities. Efficient and hard-working sterile processing departments maintain the highways that keep our hospital systems running. SPD truly is the Heart of the Hospital across the country!

To honor and celebrate the highway that connects our healthcare system, we’ve opened our Annual SP Week Photo Contest! If you work in sterile processing, share a photo with us, and receive a chance to win a paid registration fee towards the 2024 HSPA Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV!

Winner is responsible for coverage of airfare, hotel, expenses, and other ancillary costs to the conference.
